SUBMISSIONS

We are passionate about books and enjoy collaborating with authors at every stage of the publishing process – editing and design, printing and distribution, and sales and marketing. The authors we work with are talented writers and captivating storytellers. They have subject matter expertise and authentic, informative, compelling, and inspiring stories to share. Our network of skilled editors and gifted illustrators and graphic designers help to transform an author’s vision into a masterpiece.

 

Sarro House Publishing accepts manuscript submissions for nonfiction titles in thanatology – the study of death, dying, bereavement, and loss. Please take a look at the word cloud below for the kinds of books that we publish. 

Submission Guidelines

Please send your book proposal by email to: submissions@sarrohousepublishing.com with the proposed title of your manuscript in the subject line. 


Include the following information in this numbered format within the body of your email:
 

  1. Name and pen name, if applicable

  2. Paragraph introducing yourself, your background, and your publishing history

  3. Word count of completed manuscript

  4. Brief description of your book (book blurb)

  5. Is your book a work of nonfiction?

  6. Who is your target audience?

  7. How does your book benefit the reader?

  8. What makes your book different from other such books?

  9. What access to media and/or readers do you have that will assist us in reaching your book’s intended audience?

  10. What specific ideas do you have for marketing your book?

 

Please send ONLY the first three chapters of your book as one attachment to this email (Word or PDF).

Failure to follow our submission guidelines as outlined above may result in the oversight of your book proposal.
